The Ineffable Bond We Shared

SOLD

A girl I met in Peru years ago continues to inspire me. Sharing one of my own bracelets with her, she looked around in the trash and tied a scrap of sparkly paper to mine. Even though we could not communicate through words, the ineffable bond we shared is something I will never forget.

This painting is in two different color pallets. The more realistic tones are in my painting style, while the more vibrant painting uses colors often used in Peruvian paintings.

The connection we had is represented through the tying of the bracelets in the paintings and the string of trash and bracelets tied together connecting the two pieces.
